There is something about the Gold Coast climate that makes outdoor living feel non-negotiable. With warm weather for most of the year, and backyards that range from generous blocks in the northern suburbs to compact courtyard-style lots closer to the beach. The demand for home pools has never been higher.
That is where Daydream Plunge Pools comes in.
We design and install plunge pools for Gold Coast homeowners who want the benefits of a pool without the complexity of a full-size build. Whether you are looking to cool off after work, add value to your property, or simply make better use of your outdoor space, a Daydream plunge pool is built around the way you actually live.
Our pools are precast at our Woombye facility, installed within 2–3 days, and come ready for automation. From the initial consultation through to handover, we handle the design, approvals, and installation so you do not have to.

All Daydream Plunge Pools installations have the option to include a pool automation system with a dedicated pool control app, giving you straightforward pool management from wherever you are.
From the app, you can adjust water temperature before you get home, set filtration schedules to run overnight, turn lighting on or off, and monitor your pool’s status at a glance. There is no need to head outside to make adjustments or manually check settings.
The app is available on both iOS and Android and connects to your pool’s automation system via your home Wi-Fi network.

We proudly serve the inland Gold Coast property market from Beenleigh to Mt Tamborine. Daydream Plunge Pools makes it simple, handling everything from design and council approvals through to installation and handover.

We bring the Daydream Plunge Pools experience to every corner of South East Queensland. Here’s a look at the key areas we service on the Gold Coast:
Let’s make your dream pool a reality!
We’ve made the pool installation process as straightforward as possible for Gold Coast homeowners. Here’s what to expect when you choose Daydream Pools.
We chat about your space, style, and budget. No pressure, no jargon, just honest advice from people who know pools.
We handle your pool design and manage all Council approvals and compliance paperwork on your behalf.
Your pool is cast in Woombye by Allcast Precast. Built to your specifications, quality-checked, and ready for delivery.
Your pool is installed by us in 2–3 days. It’s the up to the owner to organise a new pool fence that complies with QLD legislation.
Once the fence is installed, we will organise the final certification of the pool and fence. The pool can then be filled with water, and we return to complete the initial clean, chemical balance and provide you with a full handover.
You can explore our pool gallery to get a feel for what we have built for other Gold Coast homeowners.
We have a range of pool sizes, from a 2.5 metre round to a 2.48 metre x 4.8 metre rectangle. The right size will depend on how you plan to use it and the dimensions of your outdoor space. A pool that is too small for your needs will not get much use. We recommend discussing your intended use before settling on dimensions.
Yes. In Queensland, all swimming pools require council approval and must comply with mandatory pool safety barrier requirements. Daydream Plunge Pools assists clients through the approval process as part of our service.
Timeframes vary depending on pool type, site conditions, and approval timing. Your project manager will give you a realistic timeframe once the site has been assessed.
Yes. The Gold Coast's subtropical climate means a heated or unheated plunge pool can be used comfortably for much of the year. For year-round use, adding a heating system is worth considering.
Yes. Venturi jets are a popular addition to plunge pools and can be incorporated during the design phase. This is one of the reasons plunge pools appeal to homeowners who want the relaxation benefits of a spa, along with the option to swim.
A plunge pool is a compact pool designed for cooling off, relaxation, and light exercise. A swim spa uses a current system to allow swimming in place. Both are good options for smaller blocks, but they suit different uses. If you are unsure which is the right fit, we are happy to talk through both.
Yes. All our pools can be automated with the Henden Control and Balance system and controlled via the Henden Control app, available on iOS and Android. From the app, you can adjust water temperature, set filtration schedules, control lighting, and monitor your pool's status.
